Ikwo Council Boss Partners Indigenous Clergy Men In Security, Peace Building

In line with his campaign promises to restore peace, security and development in Ikwo LGA, and to collaborate with all stakeholders in moving the council forward, the Executive Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Hon Elder Steve Orogwu has called on all clergy men and women of Ikwo Noyo extraction to join hands with him in building peace, security and all round development of the council.

Elder Orogwu while receiving the group in his office reassured them and other stakeholders that peace security, welfare and development of Ikwo would be pursued with all seriousness by his administration. 

He noted that his doors are always open to welcome suggestions and ideas that will help rebuild Ikwo to regain its lost glory. 

In their remarks, the men of God who are from different Churches said they are united for peace and development of Ikwo Noyo Clan.

They further explained that their  visit was in recognition of Elder Orogwu’s passion to make things right,  his wealth of experience, their believe in his leadership capabilities and capacity to get things done right as a man of justice, an advocate of peace, a preacher of love and a lay man of God.

Members of the Ikwo Clergy for Peace and Development, an eminent group of Ikwo priests/men of God include Rev. Father Ifeanyi Ogodo, Rt. Revd. Godwin Anyigor Awoke, Most Revd Gabriel Umuoke, Pastor Onyekachi Gideon Nwite,  Elder Stephen Oruchi, Revd John Nwozaku among others.
